Well the season started off with a bang. Plenty of new faces, and the old warriors are back with determination. Welcome to the new teams and players, including the latest addition of HVC Hawks (w) 3 into the Womens B-Grade, thereby getting rid of the bye… great !!
Also, great work done by Greg Auchter in creating from almost nothing, two teams K2 and K3 under the USQ banner, to make a very interesting Men’s Reserve comp. Also note the surprise entry of a new women’s A-Grade side, Firebirds (now part of the Thunder stable) that will challenge the favourites in that league, being loaded with some strong players. Another addition to the TVC group are the young Lofty Stars who have now had their first daunting run in the women’s B-Grade emerging with enthusiasm.
