Well the dates have been set… First muster for both the Tuesday Premier Leagues (both genders, separately) and the Wednesday Mixed Social Business League will be on Tuesday 27 February 7-8.30pm at Harristown High. There is also a second muster the following Tuesday (same times) where players can get into teams and teams and clubs can be nominated ready for the start of the season [first matches 13 March] . All skill levels welcome !!

There is also a “Come & Try” fun tournament where those building teams can get their friends along to have a go (free with BBQ lunch included). This is held on Sunday 4 March at Harristown High starting at 11am (10.30am registrations open) and going through to about 3.30pm. A great day, full of fun games and prizes…!!

Women’s A-Grade – Concordia 1, UQ Gatton, Lofty Stars, TVC Flames, TVC Phoenix
Men’s Reserve Grade – HVC Hawks 2, Concordia 1, Concordia 2, K2
Women’s Reserve – St Ursula’s 1, HVC Hawks 3, Concordia 2, Glennie 1, Glennie 2, Fairholme 1, Fairholme 2

The following still to confirm …. Lofty (w) 2, Hawks (m) 1, Hawks (w) 2, Glennie 3, St Ursula’s 2, ….

If the numbers permit, Women’s Reserve will be split to A Reserve and B Reserve.

Clubs will shortly receive an electronic spreadsheet for listing their players for TVA’s database while individual teams may provide their list of players using the nomination form avaliable on our website. Once teams are finalised the draw for the season will be published. Note that a special discount of $10 per player will be awarded to teams that pay up on their first night…. (Tonight for many….)

  • Congratulations to the Executive for 2006 ….. Here’s to a great year..!

    In line with the requirement of having the TVA AGM before the QVA AGM which is on Sat the 25 Mar, TVA’s AGM is scheduled for the 22nd Mar amidst the second week of the Business League comp. The format will focus on the election of Executive members with any other topics raised to be carried forward to the first Executive meeting for debate.

    Those members that are not available for re-election are Michael Gall and Geoff Orton. The senior positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) may only be filled by elected members that have at least one year’s experience on the TVA Executive. In total there are 9 positions to fill. So make sure you vote for a responsible candidate to look after your Association’s interests.
