Download the draw for Round 2 (S1-2010).

Thanks to everyone for their patience last week.
Hopefully this week there won’t be any similar problems.

I will be preparing the draw for the remainder of the season after this week’s games,
so if you have any more teams to add or remove, please let me know by the end of Tuesday Night.

All teams – please fill out your team lists on the score sheets before the start of the game.

Duty Teams – please make sure the MVP section is filled out every week.

If you know your team will not be available during the season (school camps, events etc…), please let me know as soon as possible.

Fees have not changed this season.

Get in early to get a $20 discount.

TVA Fees 2010 S1

The musters will be held over 2 nights, so bring along some friends and have a go.

Dates: 16th and 23rd of February.
Time: 7:00pm until 8:30pm.

Business League – a mixed social competition on Wednesday night’s for both beginner’s and experienced player’s (A & B Grade)

Premier League – held on Tuesday night’s for both men’s and women’s teams (C Grade to A Grade)

The first round of competition will be on the 2nd of March.

Team Nomination’s need to be in by the last night of musters (Tues 23rd).

After an extremely hot night the final places have been decided (see below).

A special thank you to those people who filled in for duties for other team’s to ensure everything ran smoothly.

I would like to thank all of you for your support during this season. It was hard work, and I’m definitely going to enjoy a break, but I’m also looking forward to a new season next year. Final Night Draw – S2 2009

Awards

There will be Trophies awarded for 1st place and for MVP’s.
There are silver and bronze medals for all divisions.
All duty teams need to provide at least 2 lines people.
All players must have played at least 3 matches for their team.
No player can play in 2 medal matches.

Matches

Women’s  C Grade – Best of 5 sets - 1 Hour match.
Women’s  B Grade – Best of 5 sets - 1 Hour match.
Women’s  Reserve Grade – Bronze Medal Match – Best of 5 sets - 1 Hour match.
Women’s  Reserve Grade – Gold Medal Match – Best of 5 sets – No Time Limit.
Women’s  A Grade – Best of 5 sets – No Time Limit.
Men’s  Reserve Grade – Best of 5 sets – No Time Limit.
Men’s  A Grade – Best of 5 sets – No Time Limit.

Presentation Night

Women’s Reserve Grade, B Grade and C Grade will receive their awards on the night.
Unless other arrangements are made, the remaining awards will be presented at our awards night – Saturday 21st November (see below for more details).

Salvation Army

We would like your help to putting together a Christmas Hamper to be donated to the Salvation Army. TVA has been doing this for over 10 years now and we would hate to let them down this year. Please bring along any non-perishable items you would like to donate – money is also suitable (TVA will purchase some food items on your behalf).

Next Tuesday’s draw has been filled out – there have been a few changes to the draw from last week, so please look carefully for duties and match times.

If you are not able to make it next week, please let me know a.s.a.p so I can let other teams know in time.

MVP’s

We will be asking both team’s to vote for the best player’s from the opposition team (forms will be provided). This will happen during both weeks of the final’s. If there is a tie, the duty team for the gold medal match will cast the deciding vote.

  • When: 21st November – bowling starts around 6:00pm.
  • Where: garden City Lanes (Herries St).
  • What: 2 games of ten pin, Xmas Dinner (including awards presentations).
  • Cost: $10 per head, $20 per family

Tickets available from the Duty Manager’s on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
