Toowoomba Volleyball runs 2 evenings of league volleyball, both at the Harristown State High School Volleyball gyms. (In addition the Association is involved in a number of Tournaments & school competitions at different times of the year.) Details of the Leagues are as follows :
A-Grade and Reserve Grade Premier Divisions ~ Tuesday 5.00pm – 10.30pm. This is the serious competition with separate Men’s and Women’s divisions. Some players in this league also play in the Toowoomba Titans Representative teams. For the more competitive volleyballer!
A-Grade and Reserve Grade Mixed Social Volleyball – ‘Business League’ ~ Wednesday 7pm – 9pm (1 hour match slots)
This league is a more sociable league, though A-grade can still be quite competitive where teams are allowed upto 2 Premier Division players. The teams being mixed play on a medium height net (2.35m) and have the requirement that there must be at least 2 females on court at any time. Lots of fun here !
Where to play ?
The Harristown State High School is shown in the maps of Toowoomba below.
