Round 2 Draw
The draw did get uploaded onto the website on Sunday afternoon – but I just wanted to make a few updates to the website before sending out the email notice.
So I made a few changes to the Fees page in the MyTeam page…
and I added a download button to the Draw page so you can print it…
and then I thought I would fix the Team Edit form up a bit…
and then I had a look at the signup process…
and then I had a look at the time and well, no-one wants to get emails at midnight!
So the email won’t go out until early Monday morning – not too early though!
Well our first night went pretty smoothly – thanks in particular to the Hawks girls that helped out with a duty, it was much appreciated. We do have a lot of new teams this season, so please be patient while everyone finds their feet. We are looking for another court manager to help out on Tuesday nights – particularly at the early part of the night – from 4:00pm until 6:40. Get in touch with me if you are interested in earning a few dollars while helping out.
Registration
There is some confusion about the Registration process – you need to sign up to the MyTeam page to enter your registration details. Once you have successfully signed up and logged in – you will be asked to fill in your Registration details – you should see the image below. Once we have your registration details, we don’t need you to re-enter them again like we used to have to do with the paper forms. I am going to make some changes to allow you to update those details though (soon). When your email address is added to a team list, we know to add your details to the batch of registrations we send to Volleyball QLD. School teams are handled slightly differently, in that we just need their names and birth dates as the school is their point of contact, so personal contact information is not required as it is for adults.
Some of you will be paying your registration fee through USQ – you should still sign up to the MyTeam site so you can update your details with that fact (and manage teams etc..) At the moment, you still have to fill out the registration details form (as I couldn’t skip it easily without breaking other parts just yet).
Part of the sign up process is to confirm that your email address belongs to you – it will send a confirmation email to the address you provide. If you don’t receive one, then this will stop you from being able to login. Use the contact Us button to let us know it didn’t work.
I am only aware of about 4 or 5 people that have had trouble signing up – please let me know if you are having similar problems.
